LUMBERTON — A body found Monday has been positively identified as a missing Orrum teenager, but there is no information on how he died.

Tomase Jermaine Bristow, 19, of 1266 Water Tower Road in Orrum, was identified Wednesday by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Robeson County Sheriff Ken Sealey said.

“The cause of death, we don’t have that information yet,” Sealey said.

The body was found Monday in woods off Pleasant Hope Road near the Fairgrove community during a second search for Bristow.

Bristow was last seen July 5 at Horne Camp and Fairgrove roads, according to sheriff’s Maj. Anthony Thompson.
